Assistant Professor, Family Medicine – SUNY UPSTATE
Description
SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a full-time board eligible/certified Family Medicine Physician to join their team. This provider with work at our expanding Family Medicine practice at Township 5 Camillus, which includes a number of specialist practices, radiology, PT/OT and lab.
Key Features
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Outpatient care only, no hospital call
- 7 Outpatient Sessions/week
- Rotating half day Saturday clinic at sister clinic, approximately 6 times per year
- Call shared among the larger Family Medicine group, approximately 6 times per year
- Currently integrating the Team Based Care approach to decrease Physician administrative burden
- Practice location is a new, multi-specialty site opened in 2019 in the eastern suburbs (Camillus) that includes laboratory and radiology services onsite
- Opportunity to train and work with residents in accredited residency program (6/year) as well as medical students
- Epic EMR integrated throughout the health system
- Experienced physician preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
