Assistant Professor, Family Medicine – SUNY UPSTATE

Description

SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a full-time board eligible/certified Family Medicine Physician to join their team. Competitive benefits and compensation and the opportunity to be part of an Academic Medical Center.  This provider with work at our expanding Family Medicine practice at Township 5 Camillus, which includes a number of specialist practices, radiology, PT/OT and lab.

Key Features

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Outpatient care only, no hospital call
  • 7 Outpatient Sessions/week
  • Rotating half day Saturday clinic at sister clinic, approximately 6 times per year
  • Call shared among the larger Family Medicine group, approximately 6 times per year
  • Currently integrating the Team Based Care approach to decrease Physician administrative burden
  • Practice location is a new, multi-specialty site opened in 2019 in the eastern suburbs (Camillus) that includes laboratory and radiology services onsite
  • Opportunity to train and work with residents in accredited residency program (6/year) as well as medical students
  • Epic EMR integrated throughout the health system
  • Experienced physician preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
